Internship with Focus on Mechanical & Electronic Technologies

The Mechanical & Electronic Technologies Division (MET) in our Berlin Headquarters is seeking an intern in the field of investor acquisition for a period of three to six months, beginning February 2011.

This paid internship will enhance your project management skills and you will obtain first-hand experience in conducting market analysis research and preparing presentations. Additionally, as a member of our team, you will be involved in the advising of international investors as well as the cooperation with various economic development agencies of the federal states.

The MET Team comprises industry experts in the fields of Transportation Technologies, Electronics & Microtechnology, Machinery & Equipment, and Applied Sciences & Technology Transfer.

You will assist us in

  • developing strategies to attract international investors in the respective industry segments.
  • providing advice and managing projects with national and international companies on the topic of MET, including investment location analysis and establishing a business
  • preparing market analyses, presentations and publications.
  • communicating with domestically-based and international companies, officials, and other organizations
  • organizing and participating in site selection visits, trade fairs and conferences.

Your Profile

You have

  • outstanding academic credentials in economics, economic engineering, or a related course of study.
  • work experience in consulting or other relevant industries.
  • excellent analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • a flexible, independent, and entrepreneurial work approach as well as the ability to work in a team and under pressure.
  • an international orientation with business fluent German and English skills.
